Leo Feb 18 2011 If you stare at the surface of a creek, you might see bubbles, ripples, and so on. But you can’t really tell what’s going on down below the surface. There could be a fish swimming by, or a beaver building a dam. Maybe the wind is causing the water to move a certain way. You could guess and guess and not know for sure. It’s the same way with someone you’re trying to figure out. Your best bet, if you want to get to know that person, is to go deeper. Spend some time getting to know him or her.
